Tom has created a handy web page for calculating video times.

Spreadsheets are really great for (video bandwidth calculations), but they get cumbersome to debug as they get bigger. So I wrote some JavaScript instead and it took a bit of life on its own, with more functionality added as I needed it.

Operation is simple:

  • Select the resolution and refresh rate that interest you
  • Manually adjust any parameter that needs to be changed
  • Here you are! All the data you will ever need!
