Oh! 11/11/22! Sounds like an auspicious day, right? This week has been a weird week, I think because I’m recovering from a lot of fun last week (explained all in Tuesday’s post!). I’m usually pretty impressed with summer time and it was a bit of a shock to pick up Jack from kindergarten in the pitch dark, but wasn’t it as bad as usual? Maybe it’s as simple as having a baby who keeps us alert and keeps us distracted? (I also have a perfectly ideal evening routine that I swear is helping me sleep better … I have a whole post coming up, stay tuned.)

Anyway, here’s what was on my radar this week:

ONE // Becca Freeman wrote a book!

My friend and co-host of the Bad on Paper podcast wrote a book and signed a book deal !! So madly proud of her. He discussed some of the behind-the-scenes of the trial on the podcast. Writing a book and signing a book contract is a great accomplishment and I can’t wait to read it. Go Becca !!!

TWO // Chloe’s projects

I’ve seen these Excel trackers on TikTok and, um, I don’t know you Chloe but you’re my kind of woman !! Literally genius. If you want to get organized but don’t want to spend time creating your Excel spreadsheet, you can buy her trackers. Meal planning in particular drove me crazy…. I NEED IT!

THREE // Ornaments for miniature books

Like this many people have sent me this Instagram Reel and you guys get me 🫶🏻 What a brilliant idea for an annual tradition and a fun way to keep a “record” of what you read each year. I was also thinking it would be nice to make one for Jack with some of his favorite books of him? It would also make a fabulous and inexpensive gift idea for a bookworm, especially if you can get your hands on their Goodreads account!

FOUR // Scottish Jamie dress

A gorgeous silhouette from Tuckernuck, perfect for the holidays! I wanted to be sure to share this dress as I have received some inquiries about bump-friendly party dresses. I know how frustrating it can be to see cute styles that don’t work for bumps! This would be really cool if you have any parties coming up!

FIVE // “Back to the Beach” with Lauren Conrad

I haven’t had a chance to watch (hear?) The Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti podcast yet … but this is at the top of my list. Hope to have some time this weekend !! Kristin and Stephen have a podcast where they’re reviewing old episodes and reenacting the show (and pouring tea behind the scenes, of course). They only had LAUREN CONRAD on them. I read some titles and saw a clip of them on TikTok … can’t wait to hear everything!
